Culver Lions – 2008 Program Schedule Guests and visitors are always welcome at our meetings! There is no charge if you wish to join us for the evening’s program – just come on down! Meetings begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. If you wish to join us for the evening meal also there will be a charge of $7.00 payable at the door. Anyone wishing to eat must call 842-3478 for a reservation no later than the Saturday evening prior to the meeting you wish to attend. All meetings are held at our home, the Vandalia Railroad Depot in the Culver/Union Township Park on Lakeshore Drive on the shore of Lake Maxinkuckee. Program ideas? Call 842-2103! July 19 & 20 – Lakefest July 23 – Program to be announced. July 26 – Lion’s Corn Roast! Come as early as 9:00 a.m. to help clean the flat bed load of corn! Come to eat 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm! This is our club’s most family oriented event – hamburgers, ice cream, cotton candy, soft-drinks, and all the corn-on-the-cob you can eat for your money! Bring the entire family and spend the day with family & friends! Bring blankets and lawn chairs as the park tables fill up early! The Culver/Union Township Volunteer Fire Department’s festival will be going on across the street from the park at the same time. October 4 - 6:00 a.m. till 12 noon for Breakfast – 6:00 a.m. till 2 for Flea Market - 10:00 a.m. till 2:00 Bake Sale! If you missed us in May be sure to come by today! The price for breakfast is $6.00 for adults, $3.00 for kids under 12, and tots are free! Bring extra tummy space and money to partake of all the wonderful homemade Baked Goods that will be for sale inside the Depot also!
